What's a Contract?

This publication is different from other Advicenow guides in that it doesn’t deal with a specific problem but sets out to explain the legal concept of a contract. The idea was to provide ‘building blocks’ – information on fundamental legal issues which would provide a sound foundation of knowledge about the law that could be called upon to deal with problems. The guide uses a number of examples, mainly from consumer law, to explain the basics of contract.
